The Admiral Duncan was busy tonight. Playing was a duo called, wait for it ... ,
'Skinny Living'. Where we were able to sit we had a bit of trouble hearing what
they were playing. I went a bit closer to the stage, what they did play was new
to me but the. Music sounded fine. A couple they played.were, 'Story Book', a
self penned song, (quite Good) and Bill Withers, ' 'Ain't No Sunshine'.
Next was the band engaged, who are from, Holland, they are the Dave Chavez Rock
and Blues band. They opened with a song called ' Hand Jive', (I think). There
were lots more but they sounded good.
The Blues music they played near the end of the night was very good. One sounded very much like 'Black Magic Woman'; not my cup of tea but the music was good. Will Booth who sings with Skinny Living joined in with a few songs, the harmonies were note perfect. Another great night at the, 'Admiral Duncan'.
Next Friday Night you can see the STAT band and on Saturday night it's, Midlife Crisis...
