THE HALEYS...
Gilly’s CMC Packed…
Westgate Common WMC, home of Gilly’s CMC was very busy tonight, there were
very few empty seats. Graham Hall was compere tonight in the absence of Chris
Gill, (Gilly) who is in hospital, (We wish him well). On stage was that super country music trio, ‘The Haleys’. It’s not very often I stay for a whole show, tonight I was meant to go to another club but I was enjoying the show. Joanne, on bass guitar, Becky on guitar and Brian on lead guitar make up the trio. Their PA system is a top of the range Bose and sounded superb. There was some great banter on stage which went down well...
The Haleys opened their show with ‘Hello Stranger’, the harmonies were note perfect as were their voices. More songs were by, Bob Dylan, ‘Make You Feel My Love’, ‘Don’t Be Cruel’ by the Judd’s and a couple by Don Williams and Brenda Lee. What a terrific night of Country Music by, “The Haleys”…
