Nice Full House In Crigglestone WMC.
As I walked into the concert room at Crigglestone Club on Sunday night I heard the lovely voice of Sonya singing a Celine Dion song, what a lovely voice she has and a funny lady too. She looked great in her stage wear, Lts; there was a group of ladies from the Royston railway club who often turn up at Sonya’s performances. More of her songs were,’Runaround Sue’, ‘Julie’, ‘Green Door’ and ‘Hero’. Anyone who knows Sonya will know of her outstanding personality and Presentation...
Enter Harry Turnstyle; he too is always well dressed for his stage performances as well as off stage. He opened his set with, ‘Under The Moon Of Love’ and followed with a few of his one liners. In his set he sang a Drifters medley and a requested song, ‘You Raise Me Up’. I haven’t heard this song sung quite as good as that for quite some time; great stuff Harry Turnstyle...
Alverthorpe club members were enjoying the energetic Sassy’s show. I was worn out just watching. It was none stop music, singing and dancing for almost an hour. Debbie and Amy just love their work they were wearing identical pink tops and short black skirts a ‘Oh What A Night ‘and later changed into blue sparkly tops. Lt
boots. The sound, the backing tracks and the lighting was excellent, (attention to detail by these two ladies). A few more of the songs were, ‘Red Light Spells Danger’, ‘Love Really Hurts’and ‘Moves Like Jagger’. A top professional show from two top ladies, ‘Sassy’...
Brian in the box did a great job with the stage lights tonight too....
It was also good to see two of my friends Rob and Martin in Alverthorpe club...
