Steely Grey, Harmony Country Band
Steely Grey Country Band At Gilly’s
Another good house to appreciate the great entertainment at Gilly’s CMC. Steely Grey are a really good band and as I said the last time they were at Gilly’s, ‘So easy to listen to ‘, they choose the right songs. This four piece band is well balanced and the guys are all good musicians and well dressed for their show. They have Phil on pedal steel guitarist, bass, lead and rhythm. Frank is on lead vocals and rythym guitar Stan on bass and harmonies and John is lead guitarist and vocals. The three part harmonies are well ... just wonderful! Some of the songs were, Alan Jackson’s ’Listen To Your Senses’, Two Of A Kind, ’Lucky Arms’ a John Michael Montgomery song and Don Williams' song, ‘Some Broken Hearts’. Stan, the bass player is pretty good with his one liners as he introduces the songs... I like this band... Steely Grey...
