Sara Daniels
Glasshoughton Welcomes Sara Daniels...
A nice busy club welcomed a very attractive Sheffield girl Sara Daniel on Sunday night; Sara was last year’s winner of the female vocalist 'Sheffield Mercury' award’, I liked her then but I like her even more now; she is much improved singer/ entertainer and lovely to talk to off stage. I was asked by the club's concert secretary to come and see Sara whom he rated very highly and I agree, she is very good. Sara was dressed in a blue sequined top over black trousers, (Liked the shoes)... Sara sang in her set, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’, that went down really well with the members. I think Sara’s voice has a sound of Dusty Springfield, a nice husky sound, in fact she sang a couple of her songs including, 'Son Of A Preacher Man'. Sara is in the running again for the 'Sheffield Mercury' award of best female vocalist and after hearing her sing tonight I think she has a good chance of winning a second award... well done Sara...
