Ricky Graham Leisure Auditions.
The Willow Park Social club In Pontefract was buzzing last night for the monthly auditions. There were three acts there for auditions.
The first act was a duo called Crunch from Nottingham; Phil and Claire looked great in their stage outfits; (LTS). Their Lights and sound are top class and both are excellent singers; Phil is excellent on guitar. Their music was from the eighties which is very popular these days. ‘Girls On Film’, ‘Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves’, ‘Addicted To Love’ and one I personally like, Heart’s, ‘Alone’.
A terrific duo, Crunch’.
The next act was a guy from Jamaica (Via Tuxford), again in the Nottingham area. O’Brien Hesson is the name and Reggae is his music. He looked good in his stage wear, he has a good voice and his PA is excellent, I liked the songs O’Brien chose, some were, ’All Night Long’, ‘Dancing On The Ceiling’, there was even a Queen song in there, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’,another couple were, ‘Baby It’s A Wild World’ and Ben E King’s, ‘Stand By Me’. Loved it...
Charlie Grace from Hemsworth was the final auditionee, she looked good in her stage wear and I have to say, (Because Charlie is bigger than me), "Love The Shoes"… she was wearing a black and white top, (with sequins) over black trousers. Charlie has a comedy side to her which went down well; some of her songs, (Yes, she can sing too), ‘Could It Be Magic’, ‘Monkey Man’, ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow’ and Yes folks, “Human”.
There were plenty of dancers up tonight giving a great felling to the show…
