There was a good turn out of family and friends at Brooke House Club on Tuesday for a memorial service to Barry Kenworthy who died in Tenerife on October 8th, aged just 56. Barry was a drummer who could also sing; he played in quite a few bands in the area including, Fair Exchange and The Flying Seamen. He played drums in the now closed Ossett WMC, (which was known locally as Fern House) back in the 1970’s with one Mr T on organ. We had some great nights there. Well Barry, Rest In peace my friend.
