Lee Entertains Birstall I. D. L. Club.
The club was very busy on Saturday night when we arrived; Lee was about to go on stage for his first set. Well he looked fantastic in a silver grey suit, maroon shirt and tie to match and the Shoes… he opened with ‘I Who Have Nothing’, he followed with, ‘All That Matters To Me’ The Impossible Dream’, ‘Moon Dance’, and ‘This Is The Moment’.
In the interval surprisingly, “NO BINGO” and no mass exodus for the doors to go outside for a smoke. What a club!!! Lee has just competed a successful 2 ½ months season at the Club Tropicana in Chapel St Leonards; Pat and I were introduced to Nicole and Tina two of the dancing team at Club Tropicana.
They danced with Lee on one of his songs, ‘Under The Moon Of Love’, in his second set.
In set two Lee wore a white suit and shirt and yes, white shoes. He has a superb choice of songs and mixed with his obvious personality his links from one song to the other was excellent. As stated, Boy Toy dancers Tina and Nicole joined him on stage. The dance floor quickly filled up and you could sense a party atmosphere in the room. In his last set Lee wore a rockers outfit, Pat and I particularly enjoyed his Motown medley that included ‘Our special song’, ‘My Girl’. The members loved him from song number one to the very last song of the night. Lee Lambert is truly a top entertainer…
