Steve Hanks was in great form at Gilly’s Traditional country music club this week. As a lot of people know Steve is renowned for raising money for his favourite charity “Help the hero’s “ and as raised over £4,000 this year alone for this good cause; Steve has a great country voice and his guitar and banjo picking is second to none. Lots of the members were clapping and singing along to songs such as ‘Welcome To My World” by Jim Reeves, Don Williams ‘Gypsy Woman’ and ‘Mr Man In The Moon” written by Patty Loveless. I have got to say everyone went away very entertained with his great performance. So well done Steve and we hope to see him soon. You could try and get along to help raise money for, ‘Help The Heroes’, at his Shanksville nights over in Doncaster. No doubt Gilly will keep you informed.
Next Tuesday At Gilly's It's, 'The Hanks Band',
Not to be confused with Steve Hanks. As Gilly says, 'Gerrin Early For A Good Seat'.
