Tonight In Glasshoughton Club...
It's Simon Young; he was in fine form tonight, casually dressed, good
sound and lights. Simon opened his set with a Curtis Steiger song,
'All That Matters To Me', the next song was a Roy Orbison version of,
'I Drove All Night'. The next song was a Bruno Mars song, 'Just The Way
You Are', this went down well with the audience. Simon has a great
personality which came across well. A Robert Palmer song came next,
'I'll Be Your Baby Tonight'. One for Mr T, (Thank you Simon), a Meatloaf
song, 'A Bat Out Of Hell'. There was a golden oldie by Emile Ford and the Checkmates and the audience joined in this one.
Simon ended his set with, ("Our Song" Pat's and mine), The Temptations,
'My Girl', and a Louis Armstrong oldie, 'What A Wonderful World'.
What a wonderful and entertaining set from Simon Young.
