Tonight finds me at a very busy Staincliffe Cricket Club, Dewsbury. On stage was a mum and daughter duo from Lancashire, La Belle. Richie and Kearns are their names. Two lovely ladies with lovely voices, good sound equipment. Their first song was, 'I Just Came To Say Hello', a real show opener, very lively. I love the comedy between mum and daughter, the second song was, 'I'll Be There', recorded by Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey, the harmonies were superb, note perfect. All the movements were well co-ordinated, there was Peter and Gordon’s, ‘World Without Love'. The stage outfits were short and bright sequinned dresses, (here we go, like the shoes). The next song was Johnny Angel, one I've heard but couldn't remember the artiste. There was an early medley of disco music, ‘Jive Talking', 'You Should Be Dancing', 'You Win Again'. I just loved La Belle's version of, 'The Hand That Leads Me'. The feeling in this song brought me near to tears. La Belle closed the first set with, 'Love Hurts'. A brilliant and entertaining first set.

I caught up with Lauren Faye Moss in Ossett Central club; she looked stunning in a black and pink dress, like the shoes. Lauren has a great voice and sound system she was already into her second set when I arrived and was going well. There was an Abba song, ‘Dancing Queen', and a Carol King song, 'It Might As Well Rain Until September'. Yes, Lauren was in fine form. Lauren tells me that she has upward of 25 tribute shows, well I have seen quite a few myself and each one is first class. The voices, the costumes are all as near as you are going to get. I saw her on a trade show a while ago when she was a Barbra Streisand, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and Madonna to name a few. There are many others but you really must see the fabulous, Lauren Faye Moss for the others.
