A Very a busy Glasshoughton WMC on Monday.
The artiste on stage Little Sam from Barnsley was dressed in a fishtail dress, Looking good Sam; she has fine voice, good sound gear, her opening song was 'I Wanna Be A Billionaire'. A few one liners found the crowd was with her. She followed with the Stereophonic's, 'Amazed'. The Carpenters, 'Superstar', The Beatles featured with, ‘I Saw Her Standing There', The Everly Brothers, 'Bye Bye Love', Showaddywaddy's, 'Under The Moon Of Love'. Sam is part of the clubland duo, 'Freshly Squeezed’. There was Doris Day's, 'Que Sera, Sera'. A good mix of songs for this mixed age audience. I liked Marty Wilde's, 'A Teenager In Love'. Another good show from Little Sam.
