Lee Mount WMC, Halifax.
I haven’t been in this club since my Dean Stanton Four days, way back in the 1960’s. Blimey, there were some members there who remembered me from those days. On stage tonight was top singer, John Fitzpatrick, has good strong voice and covers lots of styles of music. I do, as everybody knows, go to lots of venues and see lots of new and older acts and some I haven't seen for quite some time. John opened his first set with his signature song, 'How Do You Do'. There were lots of requests from the floor. I will say that John has put a couple of new songs onto his set, Gary Barlow's, 'Let Me Go' and James Blunt's 'Heart To Heart'. He’s certainly on top form tonight. Jimmy Justice and The Drifters were featured. Yes, lots of songs from the early 60's and more modern. One for me.... 'Red', a Daniel Merryweather’s song. Yet another good night for John Fitzpatrick.
