Westgate Common was a busy place to be on Saturday night; on stage was local harmony trio, “Carefree”. Rob, Graham and Craig were in fine form. The guys were as always very smart dressed in matching suits; the PA is first class, so on with the show’ they opened with ’Sha La ,La , La, Lee,(Who sang that one? Ah, yes, my friend Glen Cooper told me, The Small Faces; Thanks Glen) followed by a couple of jokes from Rob, there were songs by the Eagles, The Searchers, Thin Lizzie, The Shadows and many others. They finished this impressive set with Snow Patrol’s, 'Chasing Pavements’. the vocals and the harmonies were excellent, look out for Carefree ...
