Trevor Craig, Welcomed In Ladybalk Club.
There were quite a few in Ladybalk to see young singing Star, Trevor Craig; he was dressed casually smart in black trousers and shirt. Former X Factor contestant Trevor has a fine voice; he carries a good PA system and chose the songs to suit his audience. Songs of Elton John, Roy Orbison, Peter Cetera, Cliff Richard and Celine Dion were featured. One member came across and told Trevor that a lady in the club who was a former singer sent her compliments saying he was a very good entertainer... A really nice gesture...
The Last Friday Act In Alverthorpe was local three piece band, Carefree. Rob on lead vocals, Brian on lead guitar and vocals with Craig on bass make up the band. They are always very smart on stage and always have a smile. A couple of their songs were The Hollies, ‘Carrie – Anne’ and Status Quo’s‘Caroline’... another good show from, ‘Carefree’.
The Primates Impress In the Admiral Duncan.
The pub was not full but enough there to make a good atmosphere; this four piece outfit are good musicians who can all sing; the harmonies are excellent and the lead singer, although he has a sore throat did a great job.
Some of the songs were, Bryan Adams, ‘Summer Of 69’, Kim Wilde’s, ‘Kids In America’, Slades, ‘Cum On Feel The Noiz’ and a few of The Kinks songs...
A good night of entertainment...
