Paul Graham at the, Frog And Moose in Ackworth.
As always Paul was smartly dressed. He has a great voice and PA system. The place soon filled when he took the stage. Paul's opening song was a Lionel Richie song, 'All Night Long'. Nick Kershaw's 'Wouldn't It Be Good', followed, quite a different choice of songs. I didn't know a couple of his songs but I liked what I heard, the next was for his lovely. Wife, Angie, 'Missing You'. There was a Richard Marx song. ‘I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight', A Cutting Crew Hit. Yes a great set from Paul Graham who closed his first set with Bon Jovi’s,' It’s My Life'. Most of you will know Paul and Angie are the duo, "Picture This".
Scratch Band in The Boot And Shoe.
I Called in at the Boot and Shoe where I saw The Scratch Band. The sound was terrific tonight, the harmonies were very tight and note perfect. A few of the songs I heard tonight were by the Fourmost, 'You Got Your Troubles’, The Travelling Wilburys, ‘End Of The Line’, The Searchers,’ ‘When You Walk In The Room’. Oasis’s, 'She's Electric'.
I had called in to see the landlord, Les, and his Gorgeous wife Lynn. Les gets some top bands in the pub, last week, John Verity, (Ex - Argent), made an appearance. The STAT band will appear at the Boot And Shoe on Friday 22nd November.
The Scratch Band will be at The Shepherds Arms In Horbury, on Friday October 25th.
