It’s ‘Sasha T’ in Alverthorpe...
Friday night entertainment in Alverthorpe club is on the up; tonight I saw a lady who was formerly with two girl duo, Sassy; she started a
solo career and is now doing well. Her name is ‘Sasha T’. She appeared on stage tonight dressed in a fawn coloured top and sequined shorts with some great shoes, (how do they walk on heels as high as these?).
Sasha opened her show with very impressive intro music and followed with a series of songs that included, ‘Tell Me Lies’, ‘Make you Feel My Love’ and one from Elvis, ‘Burning Love’. Sasha has certainly come on a lot since I last saw her a couple of months or so ago. Her stage presence is good and her dance moves excellent... Keep a look out for ‘Sasha T’.
Quantum In The City..
The concert room was a bit on the quiet side tonight, [Friday 14th October].
On stage was a duo called Quantum. The guys are great vocalists and instrumentalists using guitar and saxophone in their act in conjunction with their backing tracks. I saw their dance set and although there were not many members in the concert room three were still a few dancers. Some of their songs were , ‘Do You Like Good Music’, ‘Love really Hurts Without You’,a good old rock and roll medley and a couple of soul songs. My first viewing of Quantum but hopefully not the last...
