A Packed House At Millbridge WMC.
It was Flaire’s audition night at the club. I had missed a couple of acts, sorry guys. I saw three acts who were on in the second part of the show.
First on was a guy from Warrington who was dressed in a black three piece suit with white shirt and a tie; Stuart Waldron is his name. He has an excellent voice, a few of his songs were, Billy Joel’s ‘My Life’, ‘Take That’s, ‘Shame’ and a couple from the Drifters. Stuart has a pleasing personality, uses the stage well and his links between his songs. A good all round act.
The second act was Ktstar and Craig Harper who I should say were NOT auditonees and are already Flaire Acts, are two well known and established artistes. Together they have formed a duo called Bel Suono which means Beautiful Sound and believe me they make a beautiful sound together. Ktstar surprised me with the vast range in her already superb voice. I already knew that Craig has an all round voice and can turn to almost any genre of music but tonight I was surprised at the quality from both singers. They sang, in perfect harmony, 'The Prayer', as sung by Celine Dion and Andre Bocelli, 'All I Ask Of You' from Phantom Of The Opera and 'Time To Say Goodbye', as sung by Sarah Brightman and again Andre Bocelli. If you see this act, Bel Suono, advertised somewhere near you... Go and see them. All the time they were on stage last night you could have heard a pin drop...
The third act was an all girl trio called, The Angelettes; they were wearing long red dresses there was a later costume change into short blue dresses and…. I Liked The shoes… The Angelettes show is a tribute to Motown and Soul music; my kind of music. The three beautiful girls are, ‘Alexandra Cheatley, Victoria Francis and Zoe Margo’ all solo singer in their own right. Some of their songs were, ‘Baby Love, Stop In The Name Of Love, My Guy, Hold Back The Night, Love Train and When Will I See You Again’. The chorography and the harmonies were excellent.
I SAW THREE GREAT ACTS TONIGHT AT THESE AUDITIONS...
