Old Bank, Mirfield Charity Show.
The charity show is in aid of, Blind Veterans.
The first act tonight is Ricky Alan. Kelly Aitcheson and Laura Goodhind. Opening the show it's Ricky Alan, he opened with a Rod Stewart song called, 'Some Guys Have All The Luck', followed by a Meatloaf song, 'Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad'. and 'You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth', Up next was a young lady called, Kelly James, looking lovely in a black outfit and a white jacket, like the shoes. She opened her set with a Janis Joplin song, 'Take A Piece Of My Heart', Kelly has a lovely voice and a pleasant personally, she chose songs that people like, for instance, this one, Patsy Clines, 'Crazy'. One I like is the Ronettes song, 'Be My Baby'. There was the Shirelles, 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow'. There were many more from this lovely young singer. There was even a Billy Jo Spears country song,
'Blanket On The Ground'. The set ended with an Atomic Kitten song there, 'Whole Again'. Well done Kelly James. You can see Kelly at Horbury club on June 20th, my 51st wedding anniversary.
Whilst waiting for the next artiste Alan sang ,'Bed Of Roses'. Bon Jovi? And 'I Would Do Anything For Love', a top introduction for Laura Goodhind as she walked on stage to sing the harmonies.
And to give Laura her long awaited debut. LAURA AND RICKY ALAN... they sang the John Legend hit song, 'All Of Me'. Well done Laura and Alan, the next was 'Valerie', and 'All About That Bass' Meghan Trainor's hit. That was introduced. I was was lucky to have people help me out with titles to some of the songs. There was one called, 'Not Been In Love Before'. Enjoyed the show tonight but again, I had to leave before the finish, the set ended with an Ella Henderson song called, 'Yours' and Laura sang this one really well. Don't tell her boy friend but, xxx
