Rothwell Club Very Busy Tonight…
My plans went astray somewhat tonight when I went out; my first call was in
Rothwell where I saw Lauren Faye Moss, what an entertainer, she has a terrific voice, personality, charisma, a winning smile and some good sound equipment. Normally at this club the artiste perform’s 3 X 30 minutes sets but tonight it was 2 X 45‘s. Lauren went on stage at 8 - 45 dressed in a blue peacock dress, (Lts). She soon had the crowd on her side from the very first song and the dancers were soon on their feet. A few of her songs were by artistes like, Chaka Khan, (Ain’t Nobody), Adele, (Rolling In The Deep), Shania Twain, (Man I Feel Like A Woman). There were lots more, Lauren has a super selection of songs; you really must see her for yourself…
I must mention Anne Marie who was celebrating her birthday and was out with her friends. Ann marie said she was 21 but I think a bit older, 22. Happy birthday love...
Ian Tyler was in form at Alverthorpe, he was just going on stage for his last
set and, yes there were dancers eager to hit the floor. Ian, as well as being an Elvis tribute artiste he also sings songs from different eras. Songs like, ’The Wonder Of You’, ’Johnny B Goode’, ’Great balls Of Fire’, some of the Beatles songs and Culture Club’s, ‘Karma Chameleon’. Ian finished his set with The Callings, ’Wherever You Will Go’. Not heard that one for a while…
An excellent set from Ian Tyler…
