Westgate Common Club Welcomed, 20th Century Rocks.
Pat and I arrived for the second set of this duo. The equipment is good, there are videos on stage screens and the lights are brilliant. The club decorations are excellent too. The show opened with a Beatles song, ',Magical Mystery Tour', 'Penny Lane', in a medley. 'Someone's Knocking At The Door', and a double door appeared on the screen with some funny figures appearing there. I'm not going to name any more of the songs or the recording artistes; it would spoil your enjoyment if you happen to catch the act. The set ended with a terrific version of Bon Jovi's 'It's My Life'. Wow...

Horbury Wmc was quite busy tonight. The Christmas decorations looked lovely, the artiste on stage is the duo from Rochdale, 'Coure D'Alene, Angie, looked good in a Long dress and Norman was dressed in a black suit. Angie plays keyboard and Norman is on drums and backing tracks. Two really strong voices. Their first song was a Journey hit, 'Don't Stop Believing'. I have previously seen the duo and like them very much. More songs were, Jessie J's, 'Price Tag', one called 'Need You Now’ a lady Antebellum song, (Like that one). Despite having colds they did put on a good show. Angie was struggling with her voice but nevertheless battled on and did a good job. Norman sang an
Adele song called, 'To Make You Feel My Love'. A good set from Coure D’Alene. The last song in the set was, 'Mr Blue Sky'. One by ELO.
