Beatles For Sale At Crigg...
Saturday night was a good night for Crigglestone Club in Wakefield; a very busy club indeed in the Concert room, the lounge and the tap room.
On stage in the concert room was a brilliant band, “Beatles For Sale”, right from the first chord that heralded the first song, ‘From Me To You’, (The Beatles first number one in the charts), the members sang along. The four guys in the band dress really smart for their gigs and on this occasion they wore grey jackets over black trousers, white shirts and ties. “8 Days a Week, I Should have Known Better, Nowhere Man and The Night Before” were just a few of the Beatles songs. This band don’t stick to the Beatles songs all night, they played songs by, “The Searchers, Billy J Kramer and The Kinks” and many more. A super night of music from the 60’s by, “Beatles For Sale”.
