The Beverly Arms in Ackworth, near Pontefract was very busy on Tuesday night, (6th December), Why? well the family band BeardSmith was in the Building... Like many others I have seen this band lots of times and never tire of seeing and hearing them. They opened their show with a Bon Jovi song, ‘It’s My Life’, followed by ‘Mr Blue Sky’. After Alice, the young sister of the band who plays, keyboards, violin and sings harmonies had sung, ‘Price Tag’ and really well I must add, Gillan the young drummer, mandolin player, singer and comedian announced his next part of the programme;Wipeou. The drum solos from Gillan and Ged are super. Dad Neil who plays guitar, bass and violin, sang ‘Don’t’ Stop Believing’. Every member of this multi talented band plays equally important parts. Gaz is on lead guitar, Graham plays keyboards and guitar and harmonies. What a band; they will be at the Horshoe Bar in the Blackpool Command show on Friday April 13th 2012... Tickets for this great show are £9 each...
