It's Saturday Night Out For Mr & Mrs T
Our first call was in a busy Lofthouse Gate WMC where we met up with our friends, the Lambert family, well Dave, Debbie and Lee who was the entertainment for the night. He looked great in his stage attire; a red jacket, black trousers and a black shirt, like the shoes Lee; like the microphone too. His sound system is excellent and he knows how to use it. Lee opened his show with Michael Buble’s , 'Cry Me A River',. His second song was, 'You Don't Have To Say You Love Me' an Elvis song, (I know, Dusty Springfield sang it too), after familiarising with the audience, (Everybody knows him), Lee sang, 'The Rose', that went down well. There was a medley of Beatles songs. Billy Ocean was featured with, 'When The Going Gets Tough'. The last song in the set was, 'We Don't Cry Out Loud', a superb set Lee.
Lee is now a member of a boy band called, 'LS ONE'. You will be able to see the band in September. I have heard a sample of their show and yes, move over, Take That and all the other Boy Bands.
Brookhouse WMC was our next stop where we saw the lovely Catherine Cooper, she looked great in a gold, glittery short dress, like the shoes, Catherine has a lovely voice. We were unfortunate to miss most of the set; I did hear a few though, Shania Twain’s 'Don't Be Stupid’, ‘Bonnie Tyler’s ‘It’s A Heartache, and Amy McDonald’s, ‘Mr Rock And Roll’. Another by Shania Twain, 'From This Moment', ending the set with Dusty Springfield’s 'I Only Want To Be With You'. Yet another great set from Catherine Cooper.
