Happy Christmas Everybody.
Tonight Pat has chosen a venue to see who she wants to see. Well our first visit was to Alverthorpe Wmc where the man and wife duo, 5th Avenue was the artiste on stage; Paul and Claire looked good on stage, Paul has an illuminated bass guitar, his pride and joy. The sound and lights equipment is very good They opened with Suzie Quatro's,'Devil Gate Drive', 'Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This', By The Eurythmics, and Paul hasn't picked up his bass yet, other artistes featured were, Elton John, Adele, ('Someone Like You), one called, 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'. Amongst others this was recorded by the Charlie Daniels Band. There was Amy Winehouse's,'Valerie'. E.L.O’s, 'Mr Blue Sky', and many more from this terrific duo, 5th Avenue. They ended the set with a Meatloaf song, 'A Bat Out Of Hell'
Westgate Common club welcomed Lottie T'Vay for their
Christmas Eve entertainment Lottie was in fine form
tonight, she looked lovely in a short dress in a leopard
spots design. Like the shoes, I also liked her version of
Eartha Kitt's Christmas song, 'Santa Baby'. There was a
song called, ' Nine 'Til Five'. A Dolly Parton recording.
One called, 'Jump', a Danni Minogue recording; the
dancers were on the floor for this and stayed there for
the whole of the second set. Yes, an up tempo set from
Lottie, Her last song in the set was, ‘Hot And Cold’, a
Katie Perry hit, Lottie is well known for her Katie Perry
tribute show.Well done Lottie T’Vay.
