Tonight, Wednesday, I am in The Morley WMC,
On stage its John Gillan fresh from his great success at the Blackpool Command Show in the Horseshoe Bar in erm, well, Blackpool. John was his usual immaculate self, in good voice. He opened his show with a Joe Cocker song followed by a Gene Pitney song and showed the quality in his tenor voice when he sang, 'I'm Gonna Be Strong'. John went into his comedy; (the jokes change each time I see him). The club was quite busy tonight; in one of his joke routines; committee lady, Suzy, played her part well. To close his first set John sang an Eric Clapton song called, 'Bad Love’. A very good entertaining set, John Gillan.
