Over At Westgate Common Club it's Gilly's, Traditional Country Music Club.
The entertainment tonight is the American Routes Band, (Ex Prelude). This is a three piece band, two guitars with bass and drums on backing tracks. They opened their show with a brilliant Eagles Medley, the harmonies are absolutely spot on. The lady singer, Irene Hume, has an excellent voice. There was a song called, 'On The Road', this band had a chart hit with, 'After The Goldrush', in 1973. As Prelude. This was written by Neil Young. Irene Hume sang one called, 'How's The World Treating You', on rhythm guitar is Chris Ringer and on lead it's Brian Hume. The song they are playing right now as I write is, 'Give Me One More Last Chance'. One by Julia Roberts was, 'Unlove Me'.
