LOUIE STEPHENS
After checking out the clubland review magazines in my area, I had a drive around looking for entertainment; I even checked on line and one club was completely empty except for the duo appearing. (I’m sure I will have missed something). It was a reasonably busy Alverthorpe club for me. The artiste engaged was Louie Stephens; he was very smart in a suit, shirt and tie. Louie has a fine voice, a good personality and a good repertoire. In the set I saw and heard Louie sang Sam Cooke’s, ‘What A Wonderful World’, ‘Soul Man’, ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’, there was an Olly Murs song, ‘Please Don’t Let Me Go’, The Bruno Mars song, ‘Lazy Song’. there were more songs but I think I have shown the variation that Louie has in his vast repertoire… Thank you dancers for helping with the atmosphere for this fine entertainer…
