The Nash welcomed Michael C Langton.
Michael was dressed in dark suit, white shirt and tie. Good sound equipment and a nice easy to listen to voice. 'You Make Me Feel So Young', ' Bad Leroy Brown’, were his first songs. Michael has a good repertoire and chose his programme to suit the audience. Tom Jones's, 'Green Green Grass Of Home', Elvis’s,’ I Just Can't Help Believing'. The odd one liner came out showing his personality; 'Help Me Make It Through The Night', an up tempo version. 'You Don't Know Me' A Ray Charles hit. On to Gene Pitney. ‘24 Hours From Tulsa'.
Michael's set ended with Snow Patrol's 'Chasing Cars'. Hey this guy has a terrific voice and has appeared on: - Stars In Your Eyes, The Blackpool Command show and other prestigious venues.

Another full house in Westgate Common for Gilly's Country Music club. Tonight it was The Nicki Gillis band from Australia. Nicki is the lead singer and plays, guitar and mandolin. On lead guitar, mandolin and vocals, it’s Lee Goodman, Dave Henderson is the bass man and the drummer is Cozy Dixon. All excellent musicians, very easy listening; Nicki has a beautiful voice and what a lovely lady, she has a wonderful personality and she is so tall. I had to stand on a chair to come anywhere near her height and she was still taller.
Some of Nicki’s songs were Gladys Knight’s, 'Help Me Make Through It Through The Night', Jeanie C Riley’s, 'Harper Valley PTA', '. In the Daylight' which I believe was one of Nicki’s compositions 'It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels'. 'Proud Mary'. A super set of Country Music from, 'The Nicki Gillis Band.
