Gurnhill Lane Wmc was our first visit tonight; the act on stage is one we saw
last week, FUEL, I have repeated seeing them tonight to see a new set. Again I
love the lights and sound with which they open their show. Leighton, Michael and T The first song was 'The Flood', again superb voices and harmony. What an
enthusiastic audience: 'The Greatest Day' went down really well. 'Relight My
Fire, Could It Be Magic','You Raise Me Up', songs by U2' (With Or Without You)',
'Run'. Lots more to listen to, I'll do just that. I could listen to Fuel all night but we had a couple of other venues to attend.
Westgate Common Wmc was busy when we arrived tonight, The Tragical History Tour, a Beatles Tribute Band. We saw most of the second set which opened with. well a
Beatles song, 'Sergeant' Peppers Lonely Hearts Club', A Little Help From My Friends','I Feel Fine', 'Can't Buy Me Love' we're just a few of the songs we heard. very good too. We will catch up at a later date; if you like a Beatles show, then its the Tragical History Tour For You.
The Admiral Duncan was very very busy tonight: the band tonight is a terrific three piece band, 'Bulldog', a great sound too. A bass, lead and a drummer, superb vocals. A few of the songs were, 'I'm A Cowboy',(Dead Or Alive). 'Jumping Jack Flash', (Rolling Stones), 'Teenage Kicks', by the the Undertones... Like that one... 'The One', a Stereophonics number. One called, 'Play That Funky Music White Boy ' by Wild Cherry. 'Summer Of 69', Bryan Adams. One by Eddie and the Hotrods, 'Get Your Rocks Off', well it's certainly been a variety of songs from. Brian on drums, on bass guitar, it's Steve, and on lead guitar and vocals and another Steve on Bass and vocals, Great show guys.
