Late starter tonight, Pat had been for a couple of days at the Chelsea
Flower Show. My first show tonight was in Westgate Common Club. On
stage was a young bubbly young singer, called Jennie Laine, she has a
lovely voice, her stage clothes were a black and silver sequinned short
Dress with a black sequinned jacket. Nice shoes. 'Celo Green's, 'Forget You'. It sounded excellent, right now it's a slow version of, 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow', by Amy Winehouse. Her next song was also an Amy Winehouse song, ‘Valerie’, In front of me were two young ladies taking 'Selfies', why do they have to 'Pout'. Back to the songs, there was a Celine Dion version of, 'I Drove All Night'. I have no ideas about the next song, ‘It’s All About The Bass But Not the Treble’? I liked the one from The Beautiful South', 'Rotterdam'. The last song in the set was a Debbie Harry song, 'Sunday Girl'. Well done Jennie Laine...
My next call was in Admiral Duncan where it was really busy. The band
tonight is ‘ABC’, they are good, I liked their version of, 'Down Down Deeper And Down’. There was one I didn't know, in fact quite a few new to me, called, 'Think Everything About You', if I get a title wrong, Sorry, the next one was about, 'Alcohol'. The band is very good and the crowd were really going for it. As I said, good but I didn't know a few of their songs. That's, 'ABC' Folks,
