Tonight at Willow Park Auditions.
Opening the show tonight was Rob Johnson, from Cudworth. He sings songs from the 1960's. He is a well dressed young man, he carries good sound equipment, he has a good voice; a screen with videos of the bands and artistes of the era. Robs first song was a Coasters song, 'Poison Ivy. The next song was, 'Love Potion Number 9', There were songs by The Searchers, Van Morrison more hits from the 60's. I liked Rob's instrumental, 'Wipeout', a Safaris chart hit also a 60's hit. Joe Thomas Featherstone, looked very smart in a silver grey suit, black shirt and
tie, Joe has a very good voice and a good PA system. His first song was, 'Very
Superstitious' a Stevie Wonder hit; followed by a song from. Jekyll And Hyde, 'This Is The Moment', a Gary Barlow hit, 'Let Me Go', one I like called, 'Use Somebody', Joe sang a credible version of 'Stars' from Les Miserable. Jake Thompson , Bradford was the next artiste on stage, he was dressed in a
very smart black suit, white shirt and tie; he has a good voice range and a good
variation of songs. His first song was, a Michael Buble song, 'I'm Feeling Good', next was an Elvis song, 'Suspicious Minds', then an Oasis hit, 'Handbags And Gladrags', one from Rod Stewart. There was a Kings Of Leon song, 'Sex On Fire'. One from Les

EV Mac a young lady from Birstall was our last singer tonight, she was dressed
in a shortish green sequinned dress over black tights, like the shoes. EV's
first song was a Blondie song, 'Heart Of Glass', followed by an Abba song, 'Does
Your Mother Know', there was a Martha Reeves And The Vandellas, 'Dancing In The
Street'. Rod Stewart's, 'You're In My Heart'. There were many more from different eras. a good selection from EV Mac. A good night of entertainment here in the Willow Park Social Club.
