Tonight I Am In Glasshoughton WMC.
Michael C Langton is the act on stage tonight, looking very smart in a shiny suit, Like the shoes Michael. Some of his songs are, an Elvis Presley song, 'I Just Can't Help Believing', there was a Scott Walker song called, 'No Regrets', back to the tempo with a Tony Christie hit, 'Avenues And Alleyways'. This went down the proverbial storm. The next song was a Matt Monro song in which there was plenty of people joining in, a Long John Baldry song, 'Let The Heartaches Begin', not often heard these days, lots of the audience knew it and sang along with it. The last song in the set was a Gene Pitney hit, Michael was a great success in the Blackpool Command show earlier this year. It goes without fear of contradiction that, Michael C Langton was well received on stage both in Glasshoughton and in Blackpool; In fact many of the Blackpool audience said he had stolen the show. He can't have, we are going back again next year in April.
