.Another Tuesday night and another full house at the 'Nash' where the artiste on
stage was the Paul the 'Pocket Rocket'. Last night in Glasshoughton club John
Alex opened his show with Elton John's 'I'm Still Standing' and .... Paul did too. He is always well turned out for his shows, he is an excellent entertainer and has a terrific personality and he is armed with a wealth of material. Another of his songs was, 'Missing You', a John Waite song. A Gary Barlow song followed, 'Let Me Go'. Paul had the members attention from his first song. There were the songs of Queen, The Bee Gees, The Drifters, and Yazoo. He finished his first set with a Robbie Williams chart topper, 'Angels'; as previously stated, an excellent entertainer in Paul, 'The Pocket Rocket'.

A nice sized crowd in Westgate for Gilly's CMC. This week on stage was, Atlanta,
a piece outfit with John on guitar and lead vocals, Tony is on lead guitar, Trevor is the bass man with Robin on drums. A nice tight sound. Their songs were 'Take It To the Limit', 'Another Tequila Sunrise'. An Eagles Song, 'Hotel California'. Lots of people in the room had been to see The Eagles in Leeds but some, like me, hadn't so Atlanta sang a few for us, by request. Four excellent musicians on stage hirer tonight. There was a self penned song by John, 'You Should Be Here', a really good song. There were a few of John's own songs I didn't know but they were good and the crowd liked them and that's what matters. A good show from Atlanta...
