The Eagle pub on Flanshaw Lane in Wakefield has started with live entertainment on Thursday nights and tonight it's the lovely Catherine Cooper looking good in her stage outfit, like the shoes. The songs she chose were just right for the pub clientele. She opened the set I saw with 'Hungry Eyes', an Eric Carmen song followed by a Diana Ross and the Supremes song, 'You Can't Hurry Love', 'You To Me Are Everything', 'Band Of Gold', lots more, I know, I always say that, well its true. Songs of Billy Ocean, to close this Catherine sang, 'Treasure', a Bruno Mars song.

Tonight I Will Venture Out To:- First it's The Nash to see Hayley F. This lady is or was, (I haven't kept up really), a Jane McDonald tribute entertainer. She looked lovely in her stage attire, like the shoes, she carries a good sound system too. Hayley's opening song was a Doris Day song, 'Secret Love', jazzed up, one called, 'All The Lovers', one from Kylie Minogue. There were a few new songs, (To me), this one is called, 'Doctors Orders'. I like this one. There were songs by Elvis Presley, swing music, 'Sentimental Journey', one by, Doris Day, there was a Shania Twain song, There was Soul, 'Nine Times Out Of Ten', one by Bryan Adams was,'Everything I Do', a good set from Hayley J.
