Westgate Common Club was as busy tonight as I have ever seen a club. I had to pinch somebody's seat. Why? It's the "HALEY SISTERS, Becky and Joanne who both play guitars, bass and acoustic with Brian on acoustic and some lead guitar. I keep saying the harmonies are good when I see acts; the harmonies the sisters sing are as close as any I have ever heard. A few if the songs tonight were, an Everley Brothers song, 'Dream Baby', The Haley's know so many songs that I've heard but so far over the years I have known most of and them I have enjoyed every one of them. Like the one they're singing now, 'Til I Can Gain Control Again'. Brian played a guitar solo, 'Rainhill Boogie'. Brilliant Brian. There was Adele's, 'To Make You Feel My Love'. There was an Emmylou Harris song, 'Ce La Vie' and to finish this awesome set was a Ray Charles Song, I Can't Stop Loving You'. I saw quite a lot of country music artistes who had travelled far and wide to see the Haley's and listen to these two incredible voices and the guitar playing of them all. No backing tracks here folks...
