Wednesday night at the Boot & Shoe in Ackworth near Pontefract and Wakefield was busy; on stage was a favourite band of mine, ‘The Teri Sullivan Band. Along with Teri on lead vocals and on lead guitar and harmonies it’s Andy Whelan and on bass and harmonies it’s Graham Kearns, three excellent musicians. Not too loud but enough volume to give the right well balanced sound. They opened their show with, ‘Where Do You Go To My Lovely’ followed by the Bee Gees To Love Somebody, Bonnie Tyler’s, It’s A Heartache. There were many more from this super band. Teri, Andy and Graham also play with The Dean Barton Band singing the songs of Smokie. Teri has just returned from Germany where she has been singing with T Rex. Look out for this very impressive band...
