The Oliver Twist at Notton, between Wakefield and Barnsley was pretty busy on Thursday night; I called in to see what was going on, I was passing and saw the car park was full, so, being a nosy person I called in. On stage was the duo The P45’s. They were on form with their singing and the humour was excellent. The harmonies were very good and they included people from the audience that went down well. Roller Coaster, Daydream Believer, You Raise Me Up and All Night Long were some of the songs. Next week it’s Matt Johnson and the week after it’s Sassy.
Jeff and Neil, co-owners of the Oliver Twist told me that
they will soon be having bands in the place; this is good news.
