A good turnout was a good sign of a good artiste at Gilly's on Tuesday night; on stage was the ever popular Mick Ford duo with Mick on lead vocals and guitar and .... on bass guitar with a drum machine for added effects. Mick is a good singer with a strong voice. He sang in the set I saw, 'Good Gearted Woman', Don Gibson's 'Sea Of Heartbreak', and Leroy Van Dyke's, 'Walk On By'. Some of the later songs which were relayed to me via Chris Gill were, Dwight Yokem's 'It Wont Hurt', 'Drinking And Dreaming', a Waylon Jennings song and Johnny Cash's 'Shotgun Blues'.
Next week at Gilly's it's one of my favourite bands, "Stone Creek", (Ain't That Right Boys") be early for this one, This Band Is Ace!
the only one in the picture I know is Mick Ford in the middle and it's a picture of a trio...
