Crigglestone Welcomes Jon Dean...
The club was fairly busy on Sunday night, on stage was Barnsley singer, Jon Dean; Jon has been in the business for many years and has spent some of his time in Benidorm which is where I first saw him, he also spent some time in Blackpool where he was very popular and still is.. He looked very smart on stage and his PA system is good. Some of Jon’s songs were,‘That’s Life’, ‘The Rose’, ‘the Answer’ and ‘My Son’. Most of these songs were requested by members of the club. A, excellent all round entertainer, “Jon Dean’.
Ossett Central Club Quite Busy.
This is the only club left in Ossett that has live entertainment on stage; the only other club, he railway club does have Karaoke. On stage at The Central was Bradford vocal/guitarist, ‘Neil Kaye’. It was my first viewing of Neil and I think he has a good voice, a good choice of songs and good lights and sound equipment. The choice of songs was very good too. He opened the set with ‘Hallelujah’, and continued with ‘Nessum Dorma’, Pink Floyd’s ‘Another Brick In The Wall’, Billy Paul’s, ‘Me And Mrs Jones’ and finished the set with a Meatloaf medley. a very good act, Neil Kaye...
