Soul Provider At The City Club.
It’s been a long time since I saw this man and wife duo, Soul Provider; they appeared at the Wakefield city Club on Friday night looking very classy in black outfits. Lisa and Gary are both very good singers, the harmonies are good. A great sound system, excellent presentation, the right songs for the members and very clear diction. They sang the songs of the Drifters, Dusty Springfield, The Supremes and many others and a little humour. An excellent duo who can sing in most venues. A few of their songs were, ’I’m Doing Fine, My Girl and a super Drifters Medley complete with dance moves. Great entertainment from, “Soul Provider”.

Sassy At The B&S Featherstone…
Debbie and Amy were on form on Friday night; the energy these two ladies use! And they go to the gym too. They look great in their stage outfits and there are quite a few costume changes as they go through their show.”Bad Romance, Valerie, Shine A Light” were just a few of their songs, the dance floor was put to good use. Anyone who has seen this duo know that you get a great show each and every time they appear… That’s Sassy!!!
Whilst I was in the B&S I had a chat with new Presenter on the block, "Karen King" who told me that she is enjoying her new regular role as Presenter at "The Oliver Twist" pub show in Notton on Thursday night was a great success and attracted lots of supporters for her. Karen is also show presenter on Tuesday nights at the Boot and Shoe in Ackworth. A very busy girl is our Karen, Pictured Below...
