Miss "Tracy" ‘wannabe..reviewer”, reviews "Mr. T"
Friday the 1st April, [April Fools Day] , I had the pleasure of reviewing a YOUNG man called.."Mr T".. [AKA"Trevor Tunnicliffe"].
Dressed in casual black attire, and nothing else but his cheeky smile "Trev" took centre stage, armed with his fantastic and highly versatile SXKN6000 Technics Keyboard.
The sounds that "Mr. T" produces, from jazz, to country to modern amazed me, as did his extensive repertoire which seems to know no boundaries.
The night became somewhat of a live open mic night, and the quality of singers was excellent. My partner Simon and myself both commented that if we closed our eyes we could have been transported back in time to an American Bar and be rubbing shoulders with the Rat Pack Stars and Starlets of that era.
The ambience and entertainment was first class.
Guest singer "Laura McCormick " gave us a couple of songs as I did and wowed the audience.
In conclusion, a night with "Mr. T" is not to be missed, if you want to take a step back in time, get up and have a warble, or just sit back relax and soak in the wonderful atmosphere "Wakefield City Club" on a Friday evening is the place to be.
"Mr. T"...what an amazing artiste...sir...we are not worthy.
[NB. This was a one off; Mr. T was standing in for resident keyboards player, Roy Biggins who was away on holiday. His keyboard is now back in its case and probably will stay there forever... ]
