"SASHA LAWRENCE"
Sasha Lawrence In Brookhouse WMC...
Whenever we see the name, “Sasha Lawrence” advertised at a club near us, Pat and I always make a bee line for this club which in this case was the New Brookhouse club in Wakefield. Sasha was her usual self, a fabulous singer, energetic and a zany character. She was dressed in a long black sequined evening dress, (Lts). Her opening songs were show songs, Cabaret and All That Jazz, These two openers were followed by, ‘Stay Just A Little Bit Longer’, ‘Be My Baby’ and an old Sarah Vaughn jazz number called, ‘It Might As Well Be Spring’. There were Adele songs in there as well as one for Mr T, a Bee Gee’s song, To Love Somebody’. Sasha Lawrence’s presentation is second to none; Pat and I love to see and hear this lady no matter what she sings. "Miss Sasha Lawrence"
