Pat,(Mrs T) and I called in at
Wakefield’s Brookhouse club which was busy; the artiste engaged was, ‘The One And Only’, Ricky Graham. As always he was immaculate on stage; it was noticed that his ‘working area’ on stage was free from cables and foot switches, even the cables from the speakers were hidden. Ricky opened his show with a Neil Diamond song, ‘Crackling Rosie’, Pat just loves Neil Diamond; He went on to sing the songs of Bobby Vinton, Tony Christie, Kenny Rogers, Bobby Vee, Willie Nelson and many others. Go and see the master at work, the way he presents each song, the way he uses his microphone stand and his links from one song to another. There can only be one, the one and only. Ricky Graham.
