Natalie Anne In The City Lounge
The lounge in the Wakefield City Club was comfortably full on Sunday night; that’s where I caught up with Wakefield singer, Natalie Anne. I hadn’t seen her performing for quite some time.
Natalie was dressed in a long old gold dress, (The colour, not the age of the dress). I loved her shoes which matched the dress. I couldn’t see them at first but Natalie lifted the dress high enough for me to see them. In her set she sang a good variety of songs that included, ‘Maybe This Time’, ‘Son Of A Preacher Man’, a couple of the Carpenters songs, some from Tina Turner and many more. In my opinion Natalie is a much improved entertainer from the last time I saw her, very clear with her song announcements, a good sound and she has some good backing tracks. The song I liked best on the night was, ‘I Won’t Last A Day Without You’. Another from the Carpenters. Well Done Natalie Anne!
