Friday Night Out!
Sometimes I feel like a change of scenery, So, off I went to a busy Milnbridge WMC where I saw Amy Metcalfe, a young lady from Derby who was auditioning for the Flair agency.; she looked lovely in a short glittering dress, (Liked The Shoes). Amy has a lovely voice and chose a good selection of songs; she has a good PA and like lots of the lady artistes has silver glittering microphone. The songs of The Supremes, Etta James, Dusty Springfield, Lily Allen, Pixie Lott,Tammy Tyrell and The Cars featured in Amy’s set. I like her. I’m sure we will see and hear lots more from Amy Metcalfe...
Teri Sullivan...
The Engaged artiste for Milnbridge was Teri Sullivan who sometimes sings in a band called, ‘The Teri Sullivan Band’ and occasionally sings as a backing vocalist with ‘T Rex’. She sings lots of styles of songs in her repertoire including Smokie, Take That,(Shine), The Stereophonics, (Handbags And Gladrags), Joe Brown, (A Picture Of You), Olivia Newton John, (Hopelessly Devoted To You Gary Barlow, ’Rule The World’, Barry Manilow, (Mandy) and a great Dusty Springfield medley. I particularly liked Teri’s version of Smokie’s, ‘If You Think You Know How To Love Me’. Another side to Teri is her straight faced comedy; she can tell a good joke or three.
