It’s been a long time since I saw Louise Webster as a solo artiste, so I put that right on Monday night when I called at Glasshoughton WMC in Castleford. Louise looked lovely in a long silver sequined top [that changed colour with the stage lights] over black leggings, (I liked the shoes). She has a tremendous personality and her presentation, though laid back is superb. Louise opened her show with Breathless followed by a dance version of Enrico Iglesias’s Hero; she soon had the audience singing along to Marty Wilde's A Teenager In Love. Her programme of songs in this set was very impressive, songs by Diana Ross and the Supremes, Bon Jovi, The Carpenters and a great version of one of my favourite songs, Drift Away. I heard a couple of songs in her second set whilst I managed to get a couple of pictures. If you haven’t see Louise Webster, give yourself a treat and see her when she appears near you..
