<< John Aston and Chris Gill, (Gilly).
Another success for Gilly on Tuesday in the City Club in Wakefield when country singer John Astonwas the artiste. He has a no nonsense laid back style which one member called, "Easy listening music, you can hear every word". I totally agree. John was once a member of the Dreaded Kalahari Bushmen, a very famous band in Wakefield which was headed by Frank 'Heppy' Hepworth. John (Looking very Dapper) sang in his set, 'My Shoes Keep WalkingBack To You', 'Midnight Me And The Blues', there were lots of songs in his repertoire that not many peole sing and it was refreshing to hear some of these. 'Famous Last Words Of A Fool' and 'Honky Tonk Bill' were more from John's extensive playlist.
