Westgate Common WMC Star Search; Heat Three.
Jonathan Carroll opened this heat three of the Star Search with a song, ‘My First My Last My Everything’.
The first contestant this week was Doncaster girl, Paige Alexandra. Paige looked good in her stage wear, she has a nice voice and sang in her set, ‘Make You Feel my Love and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’.
Manchester’s Danielle Hobson was next; she looked super in her outfit too and what a voice; in her set she sang, ‘Just The Way You Are and Take A Piece Of My Heart’.
The next singer was Emily Rooker from Castleford; she looked great in her outfit; in her set she sang, ‘There You’ll Be and Temporary Home.
After his opening song in part two Jonathan Carroll introduced Barnsley girl Kimberley Jane; I first saw Kimberley in a talent competition in Barnsley about three years ago an have to say she has gained lots of confidence and her voice has vastly improved. Kimberley sang, ‘Please Don’t Leave Me and The Best’.
The final act was Hull singer Damian Banazar who was dressed in a suit, complete with waist coat and silver chains. He sang in his set, ‘Some Kind Of Wonderful and Alright Now’.
As always only three can go to the 1/4 finals. The judges chose Damian Banazar, Danielle Hobson and Kimberley Jane, [pictured on the top row], to progress to the next round.
Emily Rooke, Paige Alexandra and Pete {the Meat} are pictured.
