The Lupset Hotel in Wakefield was very busy on Sunday afternoon, [Mothers Day]. On stage was The Sharpe Experience comedy duo who gave us a great start to the enertainment with some well timed comedy, there was lots of new material in there. Surely Rob and Paul are destined for the top; I sincerely hope so.
Next on the stage was that great family band, 'BeardSmith'. What a band; they are to film in the next couple of weeks for BGT. There were some new songs in their show too. 6 Family members and 6 great musicians. If you haven't seen this family band you don't know what you're missing.
On Sunday night I saw Steve Richards, at Crigglestone; It's the first time I have seen Steve, he has a supeb voice and could do a multi tribute show. I his set he sang the songs of Elis Presley, Johnny Cash, Dean Martin, Charlie Rich, Cliff Richard and Billy Fury. There were many others but I think you see what I mean. I loved his renditions of Falsom Prison Blues and The Cats In The Cradle.
